Rivne is a city with a centuries-old history, where each era has left its mark on the cultural space and traditions of the region.

One of the pages of the past is the craft of brewing, which has been living on the historical lands of Volyn for over a century, and in particular within the walls of the BERGSHLOSS brewery. The oldest enterprise in the city, which dates back to 1903, today its historical workshops remain a unique operating production monument.

In order to preserve and popularize the centuries-old brewing heritage, the Museum of Hop Growing and Brewing of Historical Volyn was opened in 2025. Its center was the old estate of the first owner of the BERGSHLOSS steam brewery, Hersh Meyer Pisyuk. Today, the enterprise is called LLC RIVEN LTD, combining respect for the past and modern technologies.
